Easy Controls, Wide Flexibilities

The Morpher features an easy-to-use three-knob control scheme: LEVEL (output volume), TONE (brightness), and GAIN (distortion amount) for use in different scenarios. Each knob gives you a wide control range.

3-Way Tone Switch

Natural: Neutral mode that delivers an organic, natural tone

Tight: A more aggressive tone with enhanced bottoms and edges

Classic: Provides a classic UK-style high gain sound with warm mids

Get those full stack amplifier distortion tones. Maintaining a natural sound, there will be no over-hyped frequencies, no muddy bass, and no excessive mids with this pedal. This high-gain distortion pedal has excellent dynamic response and high signal definition especially suited for lead guitar. There are three function knobs: LEVEL, TONE and GAIN. LEVEL is used to set the distortion volume. TONE is to set the brightness of your tone. GAIN is used to set degree of distortion. There are three distortion models: Natural, Tight, and Classic.

I've been using little-BIG-red (as I call it) for about two months now. It packs a punch that arrives with a smack in the face. With some great shaping controls most players can find the droids they're looking for. I use it often in combo with a OD3 and TD-2 and damn(!) is that a fat wallop. I've been playing guitar for 10yrs. Started when I was 17. From that time until now I've had a number of pedals come and go. Got the Donner Morpher and I instantly loved it. I love mini pedals. This one is very small but built to last. It's metal casing is great for the road. As far as the sound? Great! I'd put it up against the big brands any day. My power chords are beefy and clear. My lead tones are definitely soul touching on my high octaves.

Much better than other cheapo distortion pedals I've owned. This little guy is a keeper. (Dont forget the power supply 9v). 3 selectable sound profiles and 3 adjustable knobs (Gain Tone and Level) let you dial it in for your amp and rig.

This is really overall a great buy, it's sturdy and well constructed. All metal, inside everything is robust and well put together also. I think it has some great tones and versatility as well. I would buy it again and again. There is great value in that. I'm confident that a couple hundred buck might get you something better, but honestly I would rather buy several pedals (hoping to get their blues driver) or accessories to make playing fun!

I adore this pedal! I've been playing guitar for 20 years and just recently got into 80s style shredding for fun. I needed a distortion pedal to sculpt the right tone & dynamics, and this little guy delivered. My overdrive pedals weren't enough, & I wasn't quite getting the goods from dirty amp settings. Paired with a compressor this makes pinch harmonics soar! I'm like a kid who can't stop popping the squealies! You can get a decent range of distortion sounds that are great for 80s style pop rock solos & grit. This pedal can get noisy on my tube amps, and that's common with distortion. As soon as I got it I set up a quick mini board with it, and I've been having a blast with it. It allows me to easily get sounds & dynamics I was working hard to get before. I'm very happy with my purchase of this pedal. It serves my needs very well.
