As far as beginner drum kits go it’s ok. The only kit sound I like is the session drum but that’s preferences. The cymbal pads aren’t awesome and the sensitivity of the high hat pedal is awful. For its price though, it’s a good buy. Nuts don’t expect it to behave like an acoustic or more expensive electrical kit. Positive, the mesh pads but time will tell how they hold up.

I'm only new to drumming but have to say my Donna ded 200 max is awesome. It's really easy to set up instructions fully understandable, all the different sounds you can get from the kit it suits me fine for what I need it for as I'm a beginner only new to drumming.

Great little kit with reasonable options and build for the price. Plays well and feels good with the mesh skins. Got it for both picking up the sticks after a long break and teaching my kids to have a splash. Only real negative is it does miss an input here and there so faster intermediate players might feel a little held back but seriously for the price it is a great buy. Way more neighbourhood friendly than an acoustic for learning, then hook it up to a decent sound system to bash your heart out. Do recommend

It is an excellent instrument, it was purchased as an entry level instrument for a child under 13 years old, however it is robust enough for any musician to play at a quality well above the competition in the price range. It is my first instrument from this brand, but now I want more.
