Great little travel companion and perfect for some quiet practice. Screws for arm-/leg attachments are quite fiddly, sound hugely depends on the earphones - but overall I am happy.
Finn E.
Wonderfully easy to put together and take apart for travel. Incredibly easy to fine tune, and the strap doubling as the bag handle in wonderful.
Will definitely be looking at getting the Pro

Really good quality and easy to setup.

I’ve been playing the Donner HUSH I for a little while now, and honestly, it’s a really fun little guitar. The first thing you notice is how light and compact it is — it fits into a small space with almost no hassle, which makes it perfect for travel or just carrying around the house. Setting it up takes a minute, but once it’s together, it feels surprisingly solid and comfortable to play.
The tone is decent for its size — the built-in pickup and preamp make it easy to plug into headphones or an amp, and it actually sounds good enough for small performances or recording demos. Out of the box, the action was a bit high for me, so I had to tweak it, but that’s pretty common with travel guitars.
My favorite part is how versatile it is — I can practice silently with headphones, then plug into an amp if I want more volume. For what it is, a travel guitar that doesn’t feel like a toy, I’d say the HUSH I punches above its weight. It’s not going to replace a full-size acoustic for tone or resonance, but for portability, convenience, and just playing for fun anywhere, it’s excellent.
Rating: 4.5/5 – great for travel, practice, and casual gigs, but a minor setup tweak might be needed.

It's light, sounds good. Easy to tune and play. Love all the accessories and genius ways it was made for portability.
Michael P.
great travel guitar and saves my marriage has i can play with head phones.
Timothy H.
My musician girlfriend loves it. Made a great Xmas pressie

Compact, and the quiet feature is very helpful for the house when there is a novice around!

Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback. It shows you care about what you do and your products.
I am still in the process of arranging a return. I was not able to put my guitar metal extensions on because the screws don't fit the Allen key supplied. Actually one of four does but that does not help me.
The guitar itself is finished well for the price but the action is way too high. I am writing this review because I can't seem to get a response from customer service. Kaylin has been good but since asking for a return authorisation I have not heard from her.
Additionally my transaction was processed overseas and as such I was charged an international service fee by my bank. You have an Australian website with payment in AUD so this should be processed in Australia. If this is how payment now works I would not buy further items from Donnor for this reason alone.
Interestingly I bought a donnor bluetooth page turner a year a go and it has been great. I was not charged an international fee so I don't know what has changed.
I will now wait and see if Kaylin from customer service gets back to me.
Happy new year
Campbell

Awesome guitar, great price, very well machined - guitar needed the bridge saddle to be sanded down to make playable, otherwise very happy with it
Michael M.
Good concept, fair production. Machine heads awkward to use. Frame extensions hard to attach.
Deborah F.
My husband loves his guitar and has taken it to work with him.
Glen B.
Unfortunately I am left handed and been advised that you cannot just changed the strings around to suit a lefty. I am now trying to play as a right handed person so not the ideal person to comment on my new guitar.
Paul G.
Good ordering process and my new travel guitar arrived without any issues. Guitar plays well and comes with everything you need to get started. Recommended.

Can't share photo's as is a Christmas present...
Great shopping experience. Im in Western Australia and free shipping took a week to arrive.
Peta N.
It’s ok .. the e string snapped as soon as I looked at it. It’s really heavy. The frame is annoying to put on and take off. I actually don’t like the silence as much as I thought I would. If I had thought about it a bit more I probably would have just bought a normal guitar.
Lita B.
Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and the overall design of the guitar.
I just love it , easy to travel with and impress people!
nick q.
great product and excellent package - thanks Donner, it also helps my wife as it is silent and 'hides' the mostly beautiful sounds she endures! exceeded my expectations!
Matthew A.
Really cool, really quiet and really compact, comes with a lot of cool accessories integrated into the guitar and with the case.
Jake D.
Great experience . Fast delivery. Great guitar.
Haraun V.
Still learning to set it up with my spark amplifier
Neil M.
Great quality at a great price.
Bob M.
A very interesting and lovely little practice Guitar, love it.
Sue D.
Better than expectation!! Took it camping on the weekend. I always wanted a traveller & now I have one that cannot annoy neighbours
So good sounds great thru headphones & amp as well
Showed it to a mate & she ordered one immediately
jason j w.
So easy to pick up and blast out a quick riff or solo I have an electric, acoustic on stands in my lounge and I still grab the donner when I want a quick play.
The earphones do not fit my ears but unless you have my juijitsu ears they should be fine for yours. Still not a deal breaker it is so light and compact it’s great for that quick 10 min refresher jam.
Great for picnics linked to a speaker. I haven’t adjusted anything on the guitar either.
Taking It on holiday to Thailand at Xmas too. No bigger than a yoga mat. Great quality at a ridiculously cheap price.
Subhajit C.
Beautiful Guitar. Very soft on fingers and highly recommended for everyone. 20 frets is enough for most
William D.
Well made, nice tone and very good value for money. Takes a bit of getting used to after my old Taylor acoustic. It'll never sound as good as the Taylor, but great value and brilliant for travelling.

Good product.
The sound isn't that great, was hoping for more an acoustic sound but sadly its not
David V.
was exactly as described, the support was great when assking for assistance and the unit arrived packed perfectly and on time
John T.
Very smooth process and great price, which is much appreciated.
Saw guitar (Hush-I) in a youtube ad.
Looked up website.
Very easy process to identify purchase.
Delivered to Australia in a good time.
Good instructions, plugged in and works beautifully.
Really enjoying.
Robert B.
Great quality product promptly dispatched good service an communication.
Chris R.
Nice, convenient any time..
Steven G.
Great guitar and very well priced. Better than expected.
Jerbe E.
The guitar itself stopped functioning after about 2 weeks of use. The audio jack for amplifiers no longer connects, and the headphones jack is non functional. I've changed the battery as well, however it remains unusable when connected to anything. The guitar was kept in a dry and cool apartment. Sadly disappointed
Chris J.
Sounds a bit tinny in the headphones but love how I can play it quietly around my family when they’re watching TV.
Guy B.
Great guitar for travel
Have paired with a Spay Go for all the practice tones I would ever need
Charles D.
I am very pleased with my Donner HUSH™ I Mute Acoustic-Electric Guitar Kit.
It will be great for travelling overseas.
leon k.
Really like this guitar. I work away for 2 weeks at a time so it suits perfect for bringing with me. It doesn’t sound the best but its a guitar for practicing with so this doesn’t matter. Definitely worth the money!
Clive T.
Didn’t live up to expectations but not too bad, Clive
Julian K.
Love the size, the sound is great. I add a bluetooth receiver and then I can jam off my phone with spotify or ultimate guitar.
The action is pretty high, so very little string bend advised. I broke one string the first time I tuned down. The tuners are a bit weird to get used to but for price and form factor its great. I'll probably carve out the bridge and change the bend on the truss rod sooner than later. Great design otherwise.
ps.
I'll also 3d print a little plug for the head so the tuner sits better. Might even put the tuner into the body, it is switch on accidentally from bumping. There are some designs on thingiverse.
I might also design a little add on to the bottom bar to stop it sliding on your leg when sitting.
cheers
J:)K

Great service, fast delivery, well packaged, guitar is more than I expected.
Hua-Wei W.
Very good for travelling.
Tony P.
Absolutely great for travel fits in overhead locker on plane can be tuned by fingers if fitted with light gauge strings. Very good with headphones or simply plug it into an amp.
I do highly recommend this beauty
Adam P.
Very quick shipping easy to order very happy Thankyou
Steve E.
Great as a travel guitar and as a silent one for practice! However, needs a better place to attach the tuner. Also a better place for the earphone jack would be an improvement. But definitely worth it!
Max P.
absolutely amazing love playing it
Trish M.
Great travel guitar sounds great
Warren F.
Good value for money and a great sound but unplayable when it arrived. The truss rod was so out of adjustment the strings were flat against the frets. I had to get a guitar tech to adjust the truss rod.
Carl W.
Great quality and value
Craig D.
Really enjoying it , without annoying everyone else around me while I learn
Roy T.
The neck was slightly convex when I received the guitar, leading to strings buzzing against frets, particularly when fretting the first few frets.
I located a proper long allen key from a tool shop, as I knew truss rods can be quite stiff and you need the extra leverage.
It was stiff, particularly initially, but making quarter turn adjustments and retesting soon removed the buzzing while the action remained reasonably low.
It then plays and sounds fine, great for practicing without making a lot of noise. One small thing was that the thinner E string isn't all that loud compared with the others .. maybe it will improve with a bone bridge.
Overall it is musically perfect and awesome value for the price.
Manjeet B.
Its incredible to practice.
Its my first guitar and this choice was because I wanted to practice without disturbing others.
Its worth it❤️
Sam C.
The guitar that I received does not include the screws to attach the frame or a battery to power it. Although the battery may be excusable, not including screws to attach the frame to the guitar is pretty useless. Be great if you could send me some
Wayne R.
Well made and a pleasure to play, however it does have a few problems.
The sound level varies considerably across the strings. D and B are loud High E very weak. Probably due to poor pickup quality. - Its only a $5 piezo strip under the saddle.
Replacing the pickup with a better quality one got things a little more balanced but there is still work to be done.
It has the potential to become my favourite practice/travel guitar.
Note: I was sent a second guitar to rectify the problems but it is no better.
margaret t.
Incredible guitar, amazing product, every guitarist should have one!
Tim D.
Great travel guitar. Everything you need is there - including a battery and headphones! Fast delivery too!
Gary F.
Good guitar for practice
Peter H.
Love it, exactly what I wanted. Light, easy to play, sounds great through the headphones. Easy to pack away, very transportable.
Cynthia K.
I bought one and gave it a try and loved it so much I bought another. One is my studio recording guitar and the other is my travel guitar. I have a number of acoustic guitars from my professional touring days but the set up and sound of this guitar in studio is just so convenient that I keep grabbing it. Fantastic guitar.
Nick B.
Great little guitar.
Perfect for travelling
Danny A.
It Stopped working sound wise in 2 weeks, so not happy
Navraj P.
Perfect with Aerana 2000
Mohit B.
I am a sailor by profession and have to travel a lot. So it makes perfect travel companion to carry along. Light weight, portable yet powerful. Connect to amps anywhere and you are ready to go. Love the guitar.
Dawe R.
everything I expected
Andi W.
I love this guitar as it is light and easy to carry anywhere. The size is just right. The sound is also good and it is easy to tune. Definitely perfect for travel guitar.
Gilda R.
Its amazing and very handy. My partner love it so much.. thank you for this amazing guitar..!
Richard B.
Absolutely loving my Donner Hush Acoustic. Very impressed with the quality, just needed a little bit of setting up to get it playing perfectly. It’s perfect for travelling around with me in my campervan. Think I will be ordering a Hush X soon as well for the electric tones.
I modified a standard gig bag to fit it with the metal frame pieces attached, because they are a bit of a hassle to remove and put on all the time, otherwise it’s a perfect little travel guitar.
Paula F.
Purchased as gift for my husband, he is loving it
Scott H.
Was impressed about the quality of this guitar. It seems well made. Sounds fine too. Definitely needs a Bluetooth connection though for play for others. I think the model up has it. Good value for what it cost.
Michael M.
Excellent well set up great price
Jacobus N.
The guitar can sound much better, but I highly suspect that my guitar playing skills(beginner) are to blame. Other than my skill, it is an amazing piece of equipment
Michael W.
Great guitar! Perfect for carry on, and great quality for the price.
Neville M.
I bought it for my granddaughter and she loves it it
Sheryle R.
Fantastic delivery. Is exactly what it said it was. Very happy with my travel guitar that is small enough to go as hand luggage.
Joseph D.
Guitar is very slick and does it job for what i purchsed it for. Takes time to adjust from a normal guitar to this but it has all the upsides since i started using it
Stephen M.
Really like this guitar. Design is clever and practical and it sounds good too. Really light and portable and convenient for when I need to practice on the move.
Shaun H.
Great little practice guitar. The guitar came with the action set too high. A quick truss rod tweak and a couple of mm shaved from the bridge saddle and it now plays wonderfully. The piezo pickup leaves a bit to be desired but for my use of acoustic practice while travelling it’s perfect. Great price.
ED P.
Needed to lower action for optimum set-up.
Belinda W.
The guitar has a quality build and feels good.
Brett H.
Delivered so fast, and everything I expected.
car z.
It good, BUT it’s not suitable for sit and play. Or u will need sth to put on ur leg.
Angela B.
Excellent product, compact and portable, but sounds fantastic!
Ajay S.
Amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm heading from Sydney to New York next year for a songwriting workshop with Andrea Stolpe. I've wanted to work with Andrea for years, but I thought I was going to have to go with a ukulele! Instead I get to take this lovely little instrument. I'm really enjoying playing it - wasn't sure I was going to.
I took it to work today to show a friend and she bought one straight away. Lovely instrument. I'm stoked.
Steven P.
This is an awesome guitar.
Marg B.
A lovely birthday gift - thank you
Bradley S.
Looks great, a unique good point of difference.
A good replacement for my Steinberg that I can't buy strings for anymore.
The sound is crisp and is easy to play.
Craig W.
perfect service guitar is brilliant and now i can practice when i travel for work
Patrick D.
Easy set up. Sounds great.
gordon s.
Great small and light weight acoustic style guitar, good tuning stability, very little to adjust when you get it aside from personal choices like perhaps a lowered action or lighter strings. I've compared it to my Takamine and the action is about the same. String spacing is tighter, but workable. Surprisingly good tone, especially if played through a small practice/busking amp but it is also fine played directly through head phones. Very clean sound so it will definitely help you polish your technique and teach you how to get your own sound without any sound processing or other gadgetry getting in the way. Tuning with an allen key takes a bit to get used to, but once mastered no worries and as previously said tuning stability is great. It's a good bit of kit to have when you travel to ensure you can maintain your skills and sanity. Totally recommended.
