Cant believe this product can be available for the price. I am a ukelele and banjolele player and I have decided to learn the mandolin.
The bridge needed to be lowered to give more comfort in fingering and the instrument retuned which was done for free when I purchased a strap from a local music store. It sounds great and the finish is impeccable AND it has stayed in tune,.I say this because there are a number of reviews pointing to the contrary. I hope for many years of enjoyment.

I play the violin and I wanted to learn to play the mandolin without spending a lot of money. This combo was just the thing I needed. It does the job just fine. The tuning keys are a bit sloppy but manageable. The electronic tuner works great. The strings are almost broken in and holding pitch already with very little adjustment needed.

I have always wanted a Mandolin but was always put off by how expensive they were. When I saw that this was available for only 70 quid, I thought I couldn't really pass it up. I was kinda expecting it to be poor quality but I really am blown away by the craftsmanship and the sound. Everything on it is just as it should be and finished to a very high standard. A friend visited me and had a play with my Mandolin. He said it much better than his which coast more than double what I paid. I can only play 'losing my religion' at the moment so Im kinda driving my girlfriend a bit crazy, but I absolutely love it.

Mandolin arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. Instrument was excellent quality, tuners were good. Intonation was very close to perfect. Came with a good gig bag, tuner, strings, strap and 2 flex picks. Would recommend Donner to other musicians.

yes for the money this is totally worth it. It really does sound quite nice when it's tuned up and it comes with a nice variety of accessories. If you have never played mandolin before this will do just fine until you feel prepared to jump to the next level. It was my first mandolin after playing guitar for 10 years and I think it sounds just fine. There's some minor blemishes and some things that you might consider normal for your price point like this and I am fine with it

I looked at a lot of Mandolins for a beginner. This was a perfect choice for me. I have a guitar, bass and banjo that I haven't played for awhile. Decided to start playing again to try and help my peripheral neuropathy. The small neck on the Mandolin helps me more easily get my fingers in playing shape which helps make it easier for me to play my other instruments. I really like this package which included a nice bag, picks, tuner, extra strings and a polishing cloth. Glad for the extra strings as I broke one while tuning the Mandolin. I'm a beginner, but I like the way this Mandolin plays and sounds. Seems to be built well. Nice looking. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to learn to play the Mandolin. It's a small investment to find out if you will like playing the Mandolin. The playability and sound won't discourage a beginner. I am thoroughly enjoying this instrument. Playing music again is so much fun and I believe playing is helping my peripheral neuropathy.
