So as a follow up to the above review, the amp is absolutely fantastic. Plenty of volume, the app is easy to use and the built in sounds are great. As a standalone portable speaker its also fantastic, bass is crystal clear, mids and trebble also fantastic. The only thing I could say is annoying is that when you turn it on it actually asks you if you want to turn it on or off... its already off, and the single control nob button is a bit annoying and makes sound adjustment impossible without the app (aside from selecting different preset sounds, and again, i cant stress this enough, they sound pretty dam sweet as they are!) The amp looks kind of like a mix between modern and retro, feels really solid and the housing is rugged as. All in all, time will tell about the quality, but otherwise I challenge anyone to find a better portable amp for the money or even for double the price!
