Controls

1.DC IN: Input for power supply, use a 9V DC regulated power supply 100mA, center pin negative.
2.Level knob: Adjusts the delay signal level of the left/right channel. Fully counterclockwise will give you dry guitar signal. Clockwise will increase the delay level.
3.Time knob: Adjusts the delay time from 25ms to 1000ms of the left/right channel.
4.Feedback knob: Controls the delay feedback of the left/right channel, Fully counterclockwise will give one repeat and at fully clockwise you get infinite feedback.
5.LED: Indicates the effect on/off.
6.Input jack: 1/4" mono audio jack left/right input for connecting to the input device or instrument. When the mono input jack L is connected, it can output stereo signals.
7.Output jack: 1/4" mono audio jack of left/right output, effect output for connection to amp or other devices.
8.Foot switch: Engages and disengages the effect, true bypass.

Albert Lee and others have spoken about delay, and I've long understood it is a basic tool for Rockabilly guitarists. Finally I came across this affordable product from Donner and have had this for about a month and really enjoy the shimmering soundscape it gives. I use it on top of the amp reverb., and it's great for lots of songs, not just Rockabilly.

this pedal is sooo much better than I expected. Enclosure didn’t give me a ton of confidence, but hasn’t been an issue at all. Sound quality is excellent though, and it seems to be playing nicely with everything else in my chain. Definitely would buy again, sounds especially amazing with the wah+distortion. Also great to take you as deep into space as you like. You’ll want this

This is nice stereo delay! Just what I was looking for! Easy to use! Perfect to use with two amps for a big stereo sound! Recommend!

This is my new favorite pedal because it doubles as a drone/feedback machine. If you turn the level and feedback all the way up on both sides then wait a moment it will begin to produce two drone tones. Pulling back on feedback will reduce the volume. Use the time dial to change the pitch of the two stereo tones. Incredible. The tape echo itself is also good. I bought a second so I can have four separate drone voicings! One quirk with this pedal is the screws which protrude from the bottom, making it difficult to put on a wood table or pedal board.

I have 'all the delays' in my Kemper. But, this thing is just 10x more fun. I have it running in Stereo into the Kemper's loop, and wow. For whatever reason, it's just more fun and involving to play with than the Kemper delays. There's a beautiful stereo effect with different delay times (and volumes) in the left vs right channels, and it's simplicity itself to adjusst this. Sounds great, and it's cheap.

The tape delay sound itself is really good. I'm definitely a fan of the Echo Plex tone (I run an Xotic EP Boost as an always-on) and this delay has similar tonal quality. Very warm and kind of adds a nice low-mid bump, giving it a very full sound. Independent controls for left and right delay (level, time, and feedback) give you a ton of tweekability. Self-oscillation is super fun and easy on this unit. It's a great delay mono, but where it really shines is in stereo, imo. I've been running it after my Strymon Iridium and then into some nice headphones, and you feel engulfed in the sound. Just massive.

I own several Donner products and have been impressed with the value and quality. They are not putting out boutique or exceptional quality products. However, they are solid and a good-to-great value. Comparing to the Behringer delay pedal, the Donner delay costs almost 2x as much but the Donner pedal is about 3/4 the size, the pedal's enclosure is metal, the footswitch button is a much better quality, it is true by-pass, and there are controls for both channels of the stereo output. The Behringer has a battery compartment and it is buffered (?). The both sound similar. There is minimal coloration of the sound and they both work well. If a Behringer delay pedal is good and a Boss delay pedal is closer to great, I think the Donner is closer to a Boss than a Behringer pedal.

I really dig this delay pedal. It reminds me of Donner's Yellow Fall - only in stereo. And, the repeats this guy creates sound cooler than the Fall - the low end of your tone falls away as the repeats, well, repeat...similar to old school analog delays. White Tape pedal has a very cool flavor. The build is solid. The interface is unique - you have separate knobs for the left and right channels - which makes it easy to pan efx around and create some motion. I'm using this to feed dialog samples from an old Tascam tape recorder, to create ambience in my new project - so far so good! And for the price - you can't go wrong. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

The Donner White Tape dual delay pedals are awesome! I'm putting together a pedalboard where I'll be stacking both dual delays preceded by a detune and followed by an echo delay for a HUGE multi-layered/multi-tracked guitar sound in real time. The White Tape is so awesome because it's a basic, no-nonsense dual delay without all the bells and whistles that is incredibly affordable. It meets my needs perfectly. I'll probably buy two more soon just to have as back-ups . . . just in case! And because I'm funny that way. They look great, don't take up a lot of real estate on a pedalboard, and they're built well. The knobs and jacks seem sturdy. I haven't tried the footswitch yet, but 1) this is mostly for a home recording set-up and 2) I'm pretty easy on equipment anyway. These will be always-on pedals when the board is complete, so I don't worry about the footswitch too much anyway.

It is a very attractive, can’t go wrong deal for a starter echo pedal and if you are playing a stereo rig, not sure there is anything like it tweakability wise in its price category and as such is an extremely good value. Five stars for what it is - to me, there was nothing off.

I really like this pedal! Using it in a more usual mono setting, it's an excellent sounding delay, and running it stereo with 2 amps makes it really shine. I like how it has independent controls for the left and right outputs, it gives options for some very interesting bouncing and panning. It can go from very subtle delays/echoes all the way to crazy oscillations.
