It seems to work very well as advertised and we really enjoy the size given that it is suitable to fit comfortably our Pedal board. Looking forward to trying it out at a gig.

Great little pedal. The specifications show on Amazon have an Error. It says the current draw is 140 mA. The spec sheet that comes with the pedal says it only draws 22 mA. I measured it with a digital Multimeter. The actual current draw is 18mA in both Volume and Wah modes. If you’re using something like a VooDoo power supply on your pedalboard, it’s safe to use one of the standard 100 mA outputs or chain it with another low current pedal.

I want a small volume pedal and buy
as a volume pedal, there is no problem.
As a Wah,?
Because it is made of plastic, is it durable?
The sound quality is fine.

Very pleased with this pedal. I used it for the first time last night in a public performance, and it worked flawlessly.
I don't really need the wah function, but it's nice to have if I do need it later on.
I placed it before my chorus pedal and after my compressor pedal and the sound in the church system was wonderful!!

This was another Donner pedal to add to my husbands collection ,they’re very well made, and are as good as the very pricey pedals,he has most of them now as they are so good, just for bedroom use,but they sound brilliant.

Like all of the other pedals I've purchased from Donner this little guy is affordable, sturdy, and does what I want it to do when I want it to do it. The size is handy in terms of space it takes up, but if I'm being honest, I'd prefer something larger, but that's 100% preference and not a knock on the pedal.

Works great , and delivers that wah sound you're looking for , seems to be pretty sturdy after using it a few times. The only suggestion I would have is having a spring installed to push the peddle back up , this would help with timing because it takes getting used to having to rock the peddle up and down with no pressure under it. Other than that it works great for the value.

I currently own a few other Donner pedals so I had high hopes for this pedal as well. I was more interested in the volume aspect than the wah side of the pedal. I feel like I have great volume control and there is a wide range from bottom to top of the sound. The wah turns out to be quite good as well. The quality of the pedal was fairly decent and appears that it would withstand some bouncing around. I loved the size which is another reason I made this purchase. There is plenty of room for your foot despite the smaller than typical size. If this pedal died on me, I'd replace it with the same exact pedal. I recommend purchasing this pedal.

I haven't used it much but if my opinion changes I will revise my review.
It was well packaged and appears sturdy. I used to use a Line6 X3 live and it had an integrated wah/volume and I have since changed my setup to a Marshall with a pedal board and needed a volume pedal for swells so the wah was a bonus as well as familiar since I had it with the X3.
It works well in the lineup and the swells don't sound choppy . The pedal is small and takes a little adjustment since I am used to a larger size foot controller.
I have been impressed with Donner products after using some of their other things like a pedalboard and power supply. Great quality for the price. I would recommend this pedal to anyone, especially for the size and quality.

Since this is a wah and volume 2 in 1 kinda thing, you could say “how well does it do each of those things?” To which I would say it’s a decent to good wah pedal, and just an ok volume pedal. I there are limited controls on it, but I like the wah sound and it’s decently clean. With the volume portion, I wanted a better low volume sweep that starts at a full zero and can swell up, which it’s tough to get here. It starts around 10-20% unless you get a real good control on it. I like it as a wah and that’s how I plan to use it. Good value for that and it’s small.

There were three things that drew me to the pedal: price, size, and the additional feature of having a wah with a volume.
I've finally used this pedal live and wanted to leave a review because it worked perfectly. Overall the pedal feels fairly sturdy. I'm mainly using this as a volume pedal in my live rig but I love having the wah on the board for at-home use. It really is a great size. The pedal resistance is a bit light but in a live setting, you really just adapt to it and it's not even noticeable.
I will say that if you want a pedal with an even sweep (such as a VP Jr.) than this may not be the pedal for you. Don't get me wrong, you can dial in all volume levels that you'd need, it's just very touch sensitive in the lower part of the volume range. This was a non-issue for me because I typically use the volume to pull back just a little bit, or boost just a little bit depending on where I'm sitting in the mix. It was perfect for that! Most of the sweep is from about 60% to 100% volume (in my estimation) and in a live situation, it was phenomenal.
Also, the wah sounds great - typical wah sound...one minor issue I had during practice is that I accidentally kicked it into wah during practice; it wasn't a huge issue but I am going to make something that will keep this from happening (something I can remove).
I highly recommend this for people looking for board space and those who are on a budget. I actually chose this pedal over a mini Dunlop and I have no regrets.

Overall this is a durable and very lightweight pedal with seamless dual functionality. It is a fantastic option for any pedal board but especially for a user with limited space

The is a review of the 2 in 1 mini active Wah-Volume Pedal. I've gone from a huge pedal board to this mini size board that I'm using in small and larger venues alike. I've spent years with every boutique pedal imaginable. But recently I discovered Donner and I love the Donner concept and the pedals I've bought are very good, especially for the price.
This is a Wah Pedal a Volume Pedal to boot. Plus you don't have to switch between the two. The main reason I bought it is that that it's so small and has a great sound. It feels a little like plastic at first compared to my huge Teese Real McCoy Wah, but after a while I got used to it and I love it. Actually it's built really well. I think just being so small takes some getting used to.

Love the design of this pedal and it sounds great.

Small footprint and easy to use. Sound alot like my vox
Phish_phan
I love this pedal...it gives me a great wah sound which is easily comparable with a cry baby AND also acts as a volume pedal which I love and to boot it's really compact...a plus for squeezing cool pedals onto my board...highly recommend.....

As mentioned in the title this thing uses alot of power just like a normal wah pedal does. I use this pedal for all of my jimi hendrix type playing (like what everyone uses it for). The volume control is handy on this thing as well, i use it much more compared to using my tuner or my guitars volume knob.
If your getting alot of noise from other pedals or just having this thing on, it is most likely because this thing is soaking up all of the power.
Just don't daisy chain this with a bunch of pedals, maybe 3 other pedals at max. I actually had to upgrade my power supply to use this pedal properly.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to for this one. This pedal was packed great and I think it works incredible for what I need it for. The 2 in 1 feature is awesome. The reason I bought this pedal was to save some room on my pedal board and to be light weight for when I'm moving my board from the house to gigs, practice, etc.... I currently use a dunlap sw-95 slash wah, but it takes up a ton of room. I am extremely happy with the tones I'm getting with this little pedal. It is made out of plastic, but seems to be built solid and sturdy. Its only powered by a DC9V, but I never use batteries anyways.
I really like how the pedal switches from Wah to Volume. I was expecting a button to press on the side, which I think is a pain. My Dunlop wah has a button on the side to switch from clean to distortion, but I never use it since its hard to get to when playing live. But for this, you simply press on the pedal with your foot when its in the down position, and it switches back and forth easily. You have to push firm which is great so you don't switch from wah to volume accidently. The lights are also very helpful to see where you left off at. When you're using the Wah feature, the lights will be red, then green for the volume feature.
If you're looking for an inexpensive space saver on your board or a great alternative to a more expensive pedal, I highly highly recommend this pedal.

Wah-volume combo pedal; great value for money, warm and full-bodied sound, solid construction and well made.
Small in size, compared to a Dunlop, and this makes it look good even in not huge pedals, since it takes up little space.
Great for newbies and home use (as I do), but also to be carried around, given its small size.
Very similar to the Dunlop, at pretty much half the price

Like all mini-expression pedals, the pedal is small enough that it disappears completely underfoot when in use. This takes some getting used to, but isn't hard to control after you've worked out where to place your foot. The pivot is quite far back making it easy to rock back and forth quickly. Could be difficult in giant boots! So far just bedroom practice but I've not had problems with plastic pedals breaking. The LEDs are always on (one colour for each mode) - I imagine this would be helpful for knowing where you are in a dark or noisy environment.

This pedal delivered far better than i'd expected for the price point.
I play in a covers band and recently made the switch from multi-effects units to building my own 'for purpose' pedal boards. I've been buying pedals based on who uses them rather than what's most affordable and have ended up returning/reselling a large amount.
This pedal on the other hand does everything I could want a Wah-Wah pedal to do for a quarter of the price of other brands.
The build quality is great, I wouldn't be worried carting this around day in-and-out or dropping it from some height.
I've not experience any loss in signal when using it with other pedals (an issue I've have with other brands in the past) and really do enjoy the sounds I've gotten out of it so far. The fact it doubles as a volume pedal is a welcome extra.
The switch feels good and as such i'm not worried about accidental switching between the modes.
Looking forward to trying it out in some live sets!
Highly recommended if you want a Wah pedal that delivers without breaking the bank!
