Very happy with my banjolele from Donner.
Really appreciated the extras included

Fantastic from order to delivery. There were Youtube demonstrations of the Banjolele showing the prospective purchase would do as much as I needed as a casual ukulele player with little talent hunting for a bit more joy.

Trying to get it to stay in tune. I feel that a better set of tuners would have made this easy

I feel the banjo uke is good value. However as yet I am unable to get it to sound as good as my ukulele, although getting better. Looks good, but more comfortable with the uke. Maybe with time I'll like it more!

Great little uku I love it .put good strings on it and have fun easy to learn.

Awesome little banjo. Tunes easily, small, but good sound. Very fun little instrument. Size plays like a ukelele, but sound is very unique. Good value.

The build and sound quality are very good. It does not hold tuning well, but I expect this will improve as the strings break in.

Great banjolele to have around

What a Amazing Banjolele. Totally worth money. It came on time with beautifully packed. I wanted to gift my daughter. She just loved it. Sounds best built strong. Definitely recommend.

I liked the quality and value for this acoustic instrument. It's perfect for the beginner with all the extra bits but will also work great for an intermediate/advanced player. It comes with a nice black carry bag so it's very convenient for me to carry around town or from place to place. Love it lots!

Very loud!
It's built sturdy. The sides of the neck is smooth and won't scratch your hand. I'm very happy with it it's a good buy!

always wanted to play the banjo and this is a perfect banjo for beginners to learn but also great for everyone. I didn't think it was going to be this small but still works.
Great size and price for beginners and happy that it came with extra strings and a tuner.

Its not a banjo, its not a ukulele, its a banjolele! For the low cost, I am impressed with how well built and sturdy it is. Although that is not surprising given that just about all Donner products I own have been well built. Glad that I stuck with Donner instead of trying a new brand to get a banjolele.

I had previously never heard of a banjolele but my son is learning how to play stringed instruments and has been doing an incredible job so I thought this could be a fun addition to his budding collection. The strings seem secure and good quality and the drumhead and bridge are well connected. This piece definitely seems like it should have cost more than it did. The included strap and accessories are so, too, no need for extra shopping.

Good product!! Great customer service!!

I am a musician, I play multiple instruments. Went ahead and bought this ukulele. And I am so very impressed with the quality of this instrument! It came with everything a beginner would need! I highly recommend this!

I ordered this for my daughter who is going ecstatic as I am writing this review lol. I ordered this banjolele thinking it is just like ukelele with a different shape. I was wrong. It is a lot heavier and sets better to your hands than ukelele. A lot more sturdy than I expected, and even more so than those expensive ones found in music center. Very satisfied.

I am a musician and a music teacher, I have pro instruments that cost thousands in my personal studio so I do know what I'm talking about. This Banjolele is amazing on any aspect. It feels great. It sounds great. And it's delivers nothing but pure quality. Can't recommend it enough. Don't let the low price tag fool you. This is not just for beginners and can be also played with a band or an old timy jam or pretty much in any setting.

What an amazing product!
I have never heard of a banjo ukelele before. But I saw this, and for the cost how could I help myself?
Want a way to bring a whole new sound to your musical project without breaking the bank? Check out this bad boy. I have never played a ukelele that sounded so warm. What a gem. Solid construction, sturdy base, sturdy machinery. Overall 5/5 review. The accessories too! You get strings, tuner, all sorts of goodies!!! I must say once again, this company has delivered a high quality product at an entry level cost enabling more musicians to get into the game! Well done!

I was looking for a Ukelele, but wanted something different. I found this mini 4 string Banjo/Ukulele.The instrument looks and feels great with no fret issues or finish flaws. The headstock is satin black with Chrome tuners. It has a Remo banjo head and removable wood back. Package included the instrument, a gigbag, tuner, drum key, strap, picks & an extra set of strings! Set up was simple, just place the floating bridge & tune it up. I really like the way it sounds. I am considering adding a piezo pickup so I can play through an amp!

What an extremely affordable and perfect starter pack. It comes with literally everything you need to get started: A banjolele; a padded gigbag; tuner; strap; extra strings; picks; and a wrench for tightening the hooks. The banjolele comes strung with Aquila super nylguts which means it will be loud and punchy! No issues with construction. Tuners were smooth. No sharp frets! Easy set up.
There are numerous tutorials on how to set the bridge which is a breeze. The only other thing I had to do was re-wind the posts with its strings as it had a lot of slack. New strings will stretch a lot, so don’t be surprised. Never stretch your strings manually. Just tune it up a half step when you play and before you put it away. It usually takes 2 days to finally stretch the strings out naturally which is the norm for nylon and fluorocarbon strings. Other than that, it stays in tune!

My son is starting a ukulele summer camp soon and thought it would be fun to pick up a banjolele to play on. With its 4 strings, fretted neck and similar playing style of a ukulele, it is a fun and easy instrument for him to cross over to. It has the distinctive tone and construction of a banjo and a small scale that is easy for him to manage. The construction of this banjolele is beautiful. It looks great and also feels great to play. The craftsmanship is excellent with its smooth finish sapele body, remo drumhead and hardwood bridge. All the parts feel good quality. It is a really nicely made instrument and I’m impressed with its quality and warm, plucky tone. The closed-gear tuners are smooth and responsive and it even comes with a clip on tuner for tuning. The only thing that I miss, as a new player, is a template for setting the bridge. The strings are made from standard vinyl material and a spare set is included. I like that this banjolele comes with a padded gig bag and even a strap if we need it. It a really nice and great value banjolele.

After much time looking for a fun ukelele to play, I stumbled across this banjolele and instantly my curiosity got the best of me. I wasn't sure what to expect, having never heard a banjolele before, but WOW, does this thing deliver not only the fun but the quality as well.
What I notice first when removing the instrument from the box, then the gig bag, and finally the protective padding (excellent protective packing by the way) was how gorgeous it looked.
I'm impressed. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful looking, great sounding instrument for only spending A$130, but this little thing is quite amazing.

This banjolele set comes with a decent gig bag: sturdy material, some padding (so-to-speak, so it is not one of those thin gig bags that feels like a windbreaker jacket), but not quite as awesome as some of the gig bags that came with some of my Donner traditional ukes. I wouldn’t mind a more spacious pocket. It comes with the Donner tuner as all Donner ukes do, which is my favorite tuner.
